Our story is based on providing addiction treatment to those seeking to attain wellness and long-term recovery. We are disenchanted with the dismal failure of the drug and alcohol rehab industry and the acceptance of a 95% failure rate. Thus, we developed a model that focuses on underlying core issues rather than a “crash course??? on the 12 steps.
By providing a model for loving secure attachments and addressing painful core issues such as co-dependency, shame, abandonment and abuse, we are able to re-define dysfunctional definitions learned from our family of origin and begin to develop self-love.
Family and community are at the forefront of everything we do. Our goal is to care more about the clients than any other facility in the world.
SLO Recovery Centers focuses on why individuals seek addictive behavior and substances as a means of avoiding emotional pain. We understand that addictive behavior and substances are the solution, not the problem. Thus, it is important to address trauma, abuse, abandonment, co-dependency and shame as the core issues leading to addictive behavior. A list of our specialties:
SLO Recovery Centers is different and we provide a different way to treat people. We understand that you are more than another body or another insurance card. Without addressing core issues, which answer the question ‘why do I keep getting high’, getting well is impossible.
At the center of what we do is providing a safe community that exudes love, support and modeling healthy attachments.
